What we're seeking:


This Network Operations Manager position will be leading members of the Admin Team and will have governance over the ISP/OSP projects administration covering all States.

This role is critical in ensuring the initial processing of projects upon engineering approval by ensuring accuracy and data integrity.

In addition, this role will entail publishing reports, data mining, analyzing trends, and measuring productivity for the admin and scheduling teams.

This position plays a key role in providing input for process improvement in order to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects.

This also includes providing ideas for automation, removing roadblocks, and escalating system or process issues for resolution.

Managers will need to possess a full understanding of OPCEN/Construction/Installation processes and systems as they will be required to work cross-functionally and reinforce compliance with processes.

Attendance and active participation in executive forums/readouts may be required.

In this remote role, you will be expected to collaborate with peers as required but can work anywhere in the contiguous United States.

What you'll do:


The Admin team directly supports the OPCEN scheduling team which is responsible for work order project management, both capital and expense for all classes of plant project types (FTTH, CAF, Ethernet/Metro-E, BAU, CIAC).

Managing the project life cycle begins when a project is approved, during the build, and preparing the project for the closing team.

The admin team supports this lifecycle in updating the system build statuses, ensuring milestones are accurate, on track, and kept updated.

This includes massive updates or special routings.

What background you should have:


  • Minimum of 5 years or more experience in Engineering, Construction, Operations, or related department
  • Knowledge of Infinium, Varasset and/or M
  • Excellent Project Management and strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization and business partners
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to multitask and have a solid followup system
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong Technical Skills and Knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and influence others to achieve
  • Ability to work independently with little or no guidance

Desired Skills:
  • 3 years of Supervisory Experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in telecommunications
  • Knowledge of COE Engineering and Installation
  • Knowledge of OSP Engineering and installation
