Description
The Assistant Branch Manager assists the Branch Manager with the operations, personnel, and financial success of the branch.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable designated branch personnel
  • Assist the Branch Manager with the daytoday operations of a large branch
  • Assist the Branch Manager with overseeing the activities of the branch personnel including work distribution, goal setting, performance reviews and problem resolution
  • May be assigned to manage a specific functional area of the branch
  • Assist the sales staff on generation of leads based on information from the branch, business directories and other sources
  • Assist the Branch Manager to ensure customer satisfaction through active maintenance of accounts
  • Assist the Branch Manager in the analysis of the financial impact of sales/expenses on the branch
  • Assist the Branch Manager in training and mentoring new and current employee owners
  • Assist the Branch Manager with maintaining compliance with OSHA and all other work related Federal, State, and local laws and regulations as well as all company policies and procedures
  • Perform other various duties, as outlined by supervisor

Qualifications and Physical Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years related experience, thorough knowledge of industry (preferably in the geographic area where employee will be located)
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Extended periods of sitting, viewing computer screen and use of keyboard and telephone
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Human relations skills; oral and written communication skills

Pay:
$75, $85,000.00 per year
