We are actively hiring a qualified individual to join our team as a:


Landscape Designer

Job Type:
Part-Time, hours a week)

Remote employment/ work from home

Compensation:
$20.00 to $25.00/ hr., mileage and monthly remote stipend


Landscape Designer:

A Landscape Designer is the key liaison between the company and our clients. This person reports to the Construction Department Manager. The Designer is responsible to communicate, coordinate appointments and meet with clients.

They must identify the clients design needs, and provide creative, high quality, landscape designs by utilizing strong technical abilities and time management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify clients design needs while being mindful of client's budget
• Maintain constant communication with clients during the entire design process
• Ability to visualize client's needs to create a landscape design with proper plant spacing, plant scale, and plant placement based on hydrazones, climate, and microclimate
• Design with plant availability in mind
• Design basic irrigation system details for your landscape plans needs
• Draft an initial design concept to present the client and get their approval
• Create a final design using computeraided design software
• Maintain, update, and follow EcoTech plant library to ensure designs are created for the long term

Skill Requirements:

• Excellent professional communications skills required
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management required
• Basic landscape design and hardscape knowledge with the ability to identify common horticulture plant species required
• Basic understanding of irrigation system layout
• Read and understand basic landscape plans
• Basic knowledge of design software Dynascape, Illustrator, AutoCad or equivalent software.
• Must have basic Math skills
• Must have a designated workspace safe and free of distractions
• Must have reliable transportation as this position requires that applicant drive their own vehicle to meet with clients.
• Must have reliable internet
• Must pass a drug test
