- Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures
- Monthly financial statement and managerial reporting review and analysis
- Prepare financial reporting packages
- Assist in data collection and entry in preparation for ASC 842 implementation
- Prepare documentation in support of external audits
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
- Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
- Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned
- Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited local University, with a major in Accounting or Finance. Junior or Senior level, with current GPA of 3.0 or above
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship
- Ability to communicate process and findings through oral and written communication effectively and efficiently
- Ambitious, positive attitude, and a desire to build a career in the Accounting field
- Possess a strong desire to learn and eagerness to gain hands-on experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, have excellent math skills, and be able to use a computer properly
- Core hours of operation are 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday thru Friday
- 10 weeks (End of May through first week in August)
