Requirement for Tax Accountant

Education: have a bachelor's degree in business/accounting or taxation. Working toward CPA or MBA is a plus.

Experience: have 3+ years of federal and state tax returns.
Experienced in communicating with tax authority.
- Proven Experience in dealing with big excel files for the preparation of Federal and states income tax and franchise taxes for C Corporations, Partnerships.
- Good user of many
- Have solid accounting background and financial statements analysis.
- Performed accurate and detailed federal and state tax projection.
- Know how to reconcile and fix tax accounts.
- Have solid experience with TX franchise tax has experience with different regulations and forms.
- Have good competence and experience with other than Texas nonresidents. 5+ states taxation
- Familiar with different FA modules (book and tax) that support a big number of properties in different states. Review tax depreciation and provide adjustments and recommendations.
- Know how to search and analyze tax regulations.
- Know how to contact tax authorities to solve and deal with different correspondences
- Familiar with business federal and states credits
Software:
- Worked with Go System or similar tax software.
- Advance user of excel. Worked in F9 addin function is a plus
- Great Plain or PDI accounting systems is a plus
