Support the Director of Product Management with development and launch of new features and capabilities for in partnership with our Engineering , Design, and Research.
Be the voice of the customer and the product evangelist to users, executives, and partners
Contribute to the proactive engagement product strategy and execution of the roadmap
Feed the product backlog, ensuring our Engineering team has adequate detail to interpret user stories and success criteria
Liaise with various partners like the CMS team and Editorial as required on new capabilities
Produce detailed written specifications (i.e. user stories) for web products
Gather requirements to define minimum viable product and phasing
Perform thorough user acceptance testing with strong attention to detail and performance
Ship experiments in partnership with our growth and data science team to test bold product hypotheses designed to improve our ability to get users engaged with the content on web and other platforms
Plan future features, releases and iterations, based on qualitative and quantitative data
Understand the competitive landscape and evolving customer needs
Stay current on sports and entertainment products, topics and trends

Requirements:
BA/BS in Computer Science, engineering, related disciplines or equivalent practical experience
Ability to communicate with effectiveness and empathy
Enthusiasm and passion for great products and demonstrated customer focus
Ability to take a collaborative approach to operate in a matrixed environment
Can-do attitude with a passion for digital products and technology
Analytically savvy – leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights to drive outcome-driven product decisions
Curiosity about the why and how
Sense of urgency and enthusiasm in developing a best in class products

Experience writing product specifications for development teams
