Senior Accountant

About the Company and Opportunity:

CFS is working with a well-established company who needs a Senior Accountant to help guide the accounting department as they continue to expand
This client offers a friendly and collaborative office where people care about each other and work hard for each other

The ideal candidate is tech savvy - comfortable learning and using a variety of platforms and programs

Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts
Perform month end closing duties and direct annual audits
Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
Perform audits and ensure adherence to standard requirements; create new processes to improve efficiency
Ensure that all financial data is secure and complies with confidentiality policies

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role:

Bachelor's Degree in accounting
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a major ERP system
