The Job:
As a
Test Engineering Manager , you'll be part of our Test Engineering team working as an onsite employee in Hesston, KS
You'll also get to:
Work with the product development staff to identify, prioritize, and track all testing within the group.
Led testing group including organizing and prioritizing technician workload, conducting performance evaluations, and all other career development and performance duties for staff.
Complete the tests requested by the product development engineers.This includes setting up the test unit, configuring the data acquisition system, performing the test, and writing a detailed test report.
Design and implement the necessary test fixtures.This includes developing detailed engineering drawings and schematics, identifying and procuring the necessary hardware, overseeing the fabrication, programming the software, and ensuring it performs properly during use.
Operate and improve the existing test fixtures. This individual will determine the areas where improvement is needed, identify solutions, and implement them.Ensure that all the testing instrumentation is kept within calibration.
Travel approximately less than 2 weeks/yr.

You also have:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
5+ years of testing experience
3+ years of management experience
Experience with field data acquisition systems including IMC DataWorks, Siemens products, and National Instruments hardware a plus.
Programming experience with Labview and Frequency analysis experience a plus
Excellent computer file management skills, project and time management skills, and Microsoft Office products
