MFG (Market Fresh Gourmet) is a growing multi-concept restaurant group, currently with 4 restaurant concepts located Mishawaka, IN. Corndance Tavern, Bourbon and Butcher, Evil Czech Brewery and Jesús Latin Grill & Tequila Bar.

Carnegie Library Special Events is our private event space seating up to 175 guests and is in the upper level of Jesús.

Our butcher shop provides locally sourced meats while our commissary kitchen produces house-made products for each of our restaurant locations.

With 4 different concepts in 3 locations, there is something for every personality

Multi-unit & multi-concept management experience is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Bartender to join our team

All of our cocktails are hand-crafted to order; so, if you have a passion for quality, we want to meet you Our Bartenders have an in-depth knowledge of mixology and flavor profiles.

You will be helping to create exceptional experiences for our customers during their visit with us by making drinks, serving bar guests & bar tables, taking dine-in and to-go orders, delivering beverages in a timely fashion, managing your running side work, and resolving customer issues.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering great service and has a love of craft food and drink.

A natural-people-person with an eye for the details.

Our bartenders deliver unique and memorable experiences to all our guest that dine at any one of our MFG locations.

We are a very food centric company.

All Bartenders MUST go through server training, master serving a solo 3-4 table section and pass a verbal food test BEFORE being trained as a bartender.

Responsibilities:

• Make drink tickets to order
• Bar prep

- house-made simple syrups, fresh squeezed juices, hand-cut garnishes etc

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of both bars
• Knowledge of basic bartending skills
• An indept knowledge of wine & beer
• Maintain health department standards
• Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner
• Bartend private events in our events space

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender
• Ability to communicate our menus and ingredients to customers in a way that makes them feel comfortable
• Ability to coach servers in bar knowledge
• Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
• Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask efficiently
