Somerset Women's Care is looking for an Office Coordinator for our busy OBGYN office in Warren, NJ.


Job Overview:


Duties include (but not limited to):

  • Acquiring insurance authorizations for visits, office procedures and surgery.
  • Scheduling surgeries.
  • Overseeing inventory, ordering supplies, monitoring utilization of linen.
  • Reviewing future schedules for efficiency and optimization.
  • Patient interaction to explain the booking process, and their insurance responsibilities.
  • Collecting balances due for outstanding debts.
  • Overseeing and entering biweekly hours in ADP
  • Filing, and other administrative duties as needed.

Skills:


  • Must be able to solve problems and process complex tasks and situations.
  • Previous experience working with insurance companies beneficial.
  • Excellent customer service/patient liaison skills.
  • Athena EMR experience beneficial. We will train if needed.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Proven experience as an Office Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping.

It is a small, very busy OBGYN office with a single female practitioner that we are very proud of We see our staff as a family and treat each member with respect and appreciation.

This is a long term job opportunity. We are hoping to find someone who plans on staying for many years.

(The office is a husband/wife practice. The husband is a Plastic Surgeon with a completely independent staff, and the wife is an OBGYN. We share the space and see patients on alternating days. )

Hours:

Monday:
noon to 5-6pm

Tuesday: 3-4 hours (likely 11-2)

Wednesday: 8-9AM to 2-4PM

Thursday" 3-4 hours (likely 11-2)

Friday: 8-9AM to 1-3PM

No weekends

As you can see, these hours are somewhat flexible.


Job Type:
Part-time


Part time benefits:
Accrued sick leave as defined by state law. Opportunity for retirement investment after working for a year.

Pay:
starting between $28 and $32 per hour depending on incoming experience

Ability to commute/relocate:
Warren, NJ 07059: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
