Description

STARK is seeking a Showroom Logistics Rep in our flagship, New York Showroom.

Responsibilities:

Distribute incoming packages to employees daily.
Transport rugs from the showroom to the shipping department and wrap for delivery.
Receive incoming rug and carpet deliveries into inventory.
Scan outgoing carpet samples into system
Load outgoing rugs onto trucks.
Maintain the cleanliness of the shipping area.
Make deliveries and pickups of rugs and small parcels in Manhattan.
Dispose of garbage daily
On an as needed basis may be assigned by management to assist flipping rugs in the showroom
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Employment in this role requires joining DISTRICT 6, INTERNATIONAL UNION OF INDUSTRIAL, SERVICE, TRANSPORT AND HEALTH EMPLOYEES (IUISTHE)
Must be comfortable with computers and working programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, inventory management systems, etc.
Must be able to lift and package heavy rugs (50+ lbs)
Must have excellent communication skills
