Summary of Position


This position assists with all aspects of the front desk including greeting visitors, managing registration and dismissal of program attendees, working with multiple databases, and general administrative duties.

The hours of this position are 8 hours per day M-F for hours of 9am-5:30pm.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Answer the telephone and greet visitors in a professional manner.
  • Enter data and generate reports in multiple databases.
  • Manage registration and dismissal of program attendees, often at a fast pace.
  • Responsible for taking payments, settling the cash drawer with accuracy and in alignment with finance department.
  • Organize and enter data for pre/post test results as needed for required reporting.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment such as copiers, postage meter.
  • Help to manage meetings and oversees the organization calendar.
  • Assist with bulk mailings and other projects as need by staff.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while delivering an excellent customer service experience.
  • Safeguards all confidential information used in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Three years' experience in customer service and data entry, preferably, in a nonprofit environment

  • Minimum High School education,
  • Bilingual.
  • Strong working knowledge in a broad range of office functions.
  • Requires strong customer service as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Must be goal oriented, able to work independently.
  • Adhere to confidentiality polices and represent as a positive role model.
  • Ability to work as a team player with staff and community agencies
  • Organization skills with attention to detail and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to occasionally accommodate a flexible work schedule and to travel as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to participate in learning opportunities as appropriate.
  • Work in partnership with Girls Inc. program and management staff to support quality programs for all members and their families.

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
