Your Role and Impact:
Pioneering Infrastructure Development:
Play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the infrastructure of a new, fast-paced online RTS game.
Key Service Solutions:
Implement essential services such as logging, secrets management, and deployments, enhancing the game's operational effectiveness.
Collaborative Execution:
Work closely with game development teams to efficiently execute release and live operations plans.
Automation Champion:
Lead the automation of various processes, from deployments to testing, and manage systems that significantly reduce manual effort.

Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
Relevant Experience:
4+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Operations, preferably in the gaming industry.
Technical Versatility:
Proficiency in one or more programming languages and comfort in building diverse tools.
Problem-Solving Expertise:
Skilled in deep troubleshooting to identify and resolve core issues.
System Design & Management:
Experience with distributed systems, micro-services, and high-availability strategies.
Cloud Solutions Knowledge:
Competence in designing cloud-agnostic solutions across platforms like AWS, GCP, and Tencent Cloud.
Database Systems Acumen:
Familiarity with various database systems, both relational and non-relational (e.g., Redis, MongoDB, MySQL).
Configuration Management Tools:
Experience with tools like Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
CI/CD Tools Proficiency:
Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Argo CD, and Spinnaker.
Monitoring Systems Insight:
Understanding of time-series databases and metric collection systems (e.g., InfluxDB, Prometheus, ElastiCache).
Live Service Alerts:
Experience in implementing and tuning alerts for live service environments.
Visualization Tools:
Familiarity with tools like Grafana, Splunk, DataDog and Kibana.
OS Knowledge:
Proficiency with Linux and Windows.
Communication Skills:
Excellent ability to communicate effectively within a team.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in establishing Service-Level Objectives for live service games.
Experience shipping and supporting AAA live service games.
Skills in Golang, C++, or C#.
Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure.
Expertise in securing large-scale systems.
Knowledge of networking and diagnostic tools.
Experience with Unity3D or Unreal engines.
Enthusiasm for emerging tech trends.

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $97,200 to $224,440 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
