Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Daycare Assistant. As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, supervising playtime, and ensuring the well-being of all children in our care.

Duties:

• Assist with daily activities such as mealtime, naptime, and playtime
• Supervise children to ensure their safety at all times
• Engage children in ageappropriate educational and recreational activities
• Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
• Follow established procedures for handling emergencies or accidents
• Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere
• Data entry into CACFP Food Program and documenting daily attendance

Experience:

• Previous experience in a daycare or similar childcare setting is preferred
• Knowledge of clerical duties, such as record keeping and scheduling, is an asset
• Familiarity with dental office or medical receptionist duties is beneficial
• Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in phone systems and computerized systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills

$ $15.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
