Description

Responsibilities:


  • Drive gotomarket activities by developing and implementing strategies to generate demand, growth, and customer relationships across the network
  • Ensure customer perspectives drive priorities, decisions, and activities, empowering teams to serve customers better than competitors
  • Utilize deep knowledge of C.H. Robinson's capabilities and market trends to drive positive outcomes and represent the Enterprise externally
  • Monitor market dynamics to define and execute plans for profitable growth and increased market share
  • Motivate teams to achieve exceptional results aligned with strategic objectives, communicating goals, and performance metrics Drive performance and development of leaders and teams through coaching, feedback, mentoring, and training
  • Review engagement data to implement actions fostering a positive culture, supporting employee engagement and retention
  • Create and adapt workforce management strategies aligned with divisional plans and budgets, partnering with Talent Acquisition for onboarding qualified, diverse talent
  • Take meaningful action to create a diverse and inclusive environment where all employees can thrive and be their authentic selves
  • Embrace and lead change initiatives, manage regulatory compliance, and respond to audits as necessary
  • Oversee annual budgeting, expense management, and cash flow optimization while serving as an escalation point
  • Build internal relationships to ensure collaboration, quality, and effective resource deployment for business opportunities and service management

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 7 years logistics industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience
  • Ability to travel up to 30% including internationally

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Values and models a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Strong knowledge of C.H. Robinson's commercial and carrierfacing business
  • Broad market and industry knowledge including Intermodal
  • Proven experience utilizing analytical tools to understand and manage business
  • Experience leading leaders/supervisors and other staff across varying levels
  • Proven experience winning and retaining business with complex customers while partnering across the broader organizational network
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the organization
  • Demonstrated experience consulting, effectively resolving conflict, and thriving in a fastpaced, decentralized, matrixed environment
  • Strong customer strategy planning, problem solving/critical thinking skills, and ability to execute plan
  • Demonstrated success generating revenue or business growth and driving results through others
  • Financial management experience and ability to communicate financial metrics
  • Effective and flexible communication skills, including proficiency presenting to both internal and external senior leadership level audiences
