Job Summary:

As a Spa Supervisor you'll be responsible for supervising and supporting the day to day activities of the spa and fitness center while ensuring guests receive a soothing world-class spa experience.

Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Two (2)years of previous supervisory experience required experience in a Spa atmosphere preferred
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines with particular attention to detail and excellence in guest service
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive clear speaking voice both in person and over the phone
Ability to observe performance and detect signs of emergency situations and respond with proper action
Ability to participate in the creation of an enjoyable work environment
Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff some of whom will require high levels of patience tact and diplomacy
Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings and weekends

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting in scheduling employees and assigning work to ensure proper coverage
Ensuring that all team members are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively perform their jobs
Performing opening and closing duties
Assisting with scheduling spa appointments and services
Assisting with ongoing training of the Rock Spa team
Maintaining a neat and clean work environment
Interacting with guests in a professional and service oriented manner
Answering questions about available services general property information and amenities of the spa fitness center and property
Promoting and selling spa services and retail products
Resolving guest complaints and communicating with the Spa Director regarding the issue and resolution in a timely manner
Monitoring supply of guest amenities and supplies and completing purchase orders as appropriate
Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all spa services packages promotions and retail products offered
