Job Description Summary:

The Quality Lead is responsible for using product knowledge, data analytics, and customer feedback to develop a zero defect strategy and drive continuous improvement in a Production environment.

As the Quality Lead, you will coordinate between the production quality team and customer expectations to ensure timely delivery of conforming and compliant engines to customers.


Roles and Responsibilities
  • Operate as the leader of new make production assembly quality, manufacturing conformance, and inspection of production engines.
  • Lead continuous improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify and lead implementation of corrective actions and improvements across engine programs.
  • Conduct quality management system audits to support LATO.
  • Lead internal and external audits (DoD, DNV, FAA, etc.).
  • Establish a Predictive Quality Framework to foster a culture of risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with Quality Systems to drive continuous improvement.
  • Be an expert on quality systems and technical manufacturing processes.
  • Present Quality key process indicator metrics to staff and leadership.
  • Drive key process indicator metrics within team to meet business objectives.
  • Implement standard work culture for consistency and robust execution of metric improvements.
  • Mentor and develop team on quality system expertise and cross training.
  • Promote team diversity and transparency.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Quality or Manufacturing Environment.
