    Description

    A global FinTech company is in search of a Senior KDB developer. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial environment.

    We are seeking exceptional KDB+/Q proficiency. In this role, you will serve as the lead member of our KDB team, specializing in intricate KDB tasks. Proficiency in in-memory column-based databases is vital. Extensive familiarity with KDB syntax and functional programming principles is a must. Experience with Big Data and high frequency mechanisms is also required. Proficiency in data types and type casting in Q is crucial. The ability to develop custom gateways is essential. Please note, this is a development role and not focused on function or quant tasks.

    Strong analytical skills, expertise in manipulating data sets, and a solid grasp of statistics are valuable assets. This is not your average KDB position found at a traditional brokerage firm.
