- Assist in the development and implementation of communication and marketing strategies to promote our fusion stellarator technology.
- Create engaging content for various communications and marketing channels, including social media, website, email newsletters, and marketing collateral.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of upcoming events, ensuring smooth logistical management and effective promotion.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure alignment of marketing and communications efforts with overall internal and external business objectives.
- Support the maintenance and updating of marketing materials, databases, and documentation.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives and provide insights/recommendations for optimization.
- Assist with administrative tasks and other projects as needed.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and other digital marketing tools.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in accurately communicating science and technology to different audiences, including but not limited to general public, investors, government agencies, and academic and industry collaborators.

Your role in the mission:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Intern to join our Communications Team. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing and communication within a fast-paced start-up environment.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about marketing, possess strong communication skills, including writing, have an interest in accurately communicating cutting-edge science and technology, and be eager to learn and contribute to our team's success.
This position reports to the Communications Manager, who works under the direction of the Sr. VP of Marketing and Business Development.
