    Job Description

    Palos Park Episcopal Day Care and Learning Center has been providing life lasting "Early Childhood" experiences for children for over 35 years.

    We are looking for a creative, nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic teacher.

    Teachers' responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    -Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons

    -Create exciting and interactive learning experiences in a fun and safe environment

    -Communicate directly with parents

    -Maintain a clean and organized classroom

    -Conduct Parent/Teacher conferences

    -Complete educational portfolios

    -Ensure all licensing guidelines are implemented

    Education Requirements: High School Diploma. DCFS teacher qualifications are highly preferred.

    Previous daycare experience is preferred.

    Hours for position: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday (40 hours/wk)
