Maumee Bay Lodge, a premier hotel and restaurant located in Oregon, Ohio, is seeking experienced and customer service-oriented Bartenders to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing guests with an exceptional bar experience by creating and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining a professional, friendly, and efficient atmosphere.

Bartenders may work in the Icebreaker lounge ($9.25/hour plus tips) or Banquet events ($10.45/hour plus tips). Bartenders in the Icebreaker lounge are also responsible for serving tables in the lounge & mixing/pouring drinks for the Dining Room.

Responsibilities:

Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring exceptional service at all times
Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to guest requests and in compliance with company standards
Take orders and process payments in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are stocked and in good working condition at all times
Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Check guests' identification to verify they are of legal drinking age
Monitor and adhere to all local, state, and federal alcohol laws
Upsell and promote special drinks or events to increase revenue
Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
Attend all mandatory training sessions and staff meetings
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience
Strong knowledge of various types of alcoholic beverages and their proper preparation
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must have a valid Alcohol Service certification (if not, required to attend company training)
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
