Riverpointe Post Acute is a 4 star CMS rating skilled nursing facility with
112 beds located in Carmichael, CA. We strive to be the premier provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in the greater Sacramento area. We are seeking an Assistant Director of Staff Development.

  • Location: 6041 Fair Oaks Blvd. Carmichael, CA 95608
Shift Structure: 8 hours per day, AM Shift

  • Pay Range: $15$17 per hour
  • Department: Nursing

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

As the Assistant Director, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our staff, ensuring that our workforce is skilled, motivated, and capable of delivering exceptional patient care.

  • Provide administrative assistance to the DSD or as assigned.
  • Act as directed by the DSD in providing support and communication between the DSD and other departments within the facility.
  • Accept and perform temporary or longterm assignments to various departments within the facility as required by the DSD.
  • Assist the DSD in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing the daytoday functions of the facility, its programs and activities.
  • Maintains awareness of advanced medicine, diagnostic and treatment equipment, data processing technology, government regulations, and health insurance changes.
  • Monitors the use of services, facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources and assesses the need for additional equipment, staff, and services. Serves the management team with the DSD.
  • Participates in the strategic planning for assigned areas and assists the DSD in developing and implementing the overall departmental strategic plan.
  • Establishes performance goals and measures to evaluate the success of assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the DSD or other appropriate administrator.
Qualifications for the Position


Education:


  • 6 months to a year of SNF in a long term care experience or administrative experience.
