    Discovery Senior Living is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our home office Business Assimilation team .

    EST/CST Time Zones Preferred

    Position Summary


    This collaborative position will lead marketing assimilation strategies for Discovery Senior Living communities across national brands, regional brands and divisions.

    This includes full oversight and management of marketing-related acquisition tasks including rebranding initiatives, traditional and digital assets, and developing short-term marketing plans with strategies to support lead generation/lead conversion marketing goals and rebranding when applicable.

    Additional responsibilities include channel analysis and execution for start-up marketing, tracking results and reporting on ROI, budget creation, and P& L financial responsibilities and a robust understanding of the competitive landscape and sales objections.

    This position will require up to 50% travel to communities across the US.

    Essential Duties And Responsibilities


    Work with the Business Assimilation Group and Discovery Marketing Group to lead and execute community marketing acquisition plans across national brands, regional brands and divisions.

    Optimize marketing acquisitions, reducing the cost and acquiring the best partners to support the business needs
    Project manage all acquisition items including but not limited to signage, collateral, vehicles, budgets, etc., tracking and reporting status
    Function as the trusted advisor on brand marketing efforts, developing and executing short-term marketing plans with strategies to support lead generation goals and rebranding when applicable
    Collaborate with Discovery Marketing Group on messaging, design, content, communications, etc., across all channels to support lead generation and brand awareness
    Partner with the Digital Support Team to develop and launch all digital assets including community websites and advertising associated with community-wide marketing campaigns, email communications, and 3rd party platforms, in addition to reputation marketing
    Develop and manage community budgets, and track and analyze monthly P & L financials
    Analyze monthly lead generation performance, tracking results and reporting on ROI by channel and conversions
    Interpret and synthesize competitive knowledge and market research data to develop insight led strategies to inform lead generation decisions and priorities
    Develop a robust understanding of community competitive landscape and sales objections, articulating insights to transform recommendations into innovative integrated marketing campaign strategies in partnership with Marketing
    Partner with Sales to understand the local referral network and develop a Referral Outreach Program for the greater community. Track, analyze and report monthly on effectiveness.
    Partner with Business Assimilation team members and corporate and regional leaders for ongoing discussions including overall strategy, differentiators, new opportunities and challenges, and new competition to meet occupancy goals
    Marketing liaison for all investor and manager/operator requests
    Maintain DSL brand standards across all marketing
    Travel to communities across the US as needed up to 50%
    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Educational Requirements and Experience

    :

    Bachelor's degree in marketing, or other related area of specialty with seven or more years of proven marketing experience
    Experience and an excellent understanding of marketing acquisitions
    Preferred senior living, real estate or healthcare experience
    Experience in a lead generation environment
    Minimum four years analysis and reporting experience
    Experience developing short-term marketing strategies with traditional and digital marketing channels
    Proficiency with budget management and forecasting
    Knowledge using Customer Relationship Management software
