    Job DescriptionSalary:

    We are seeking a dedicated full-time engineer to join our esteemed team in Easton, CT, conveniently located just 1 hour and 15 minutes outside of NYC. While there is an immediate need, we are also open to considering future start dates.

    Education Requirements:

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics or other science-based degrees.

    Tasks and Responsibilities: In this role, you will be an integral part of a team focused on planning and assessing field operations for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Applying critical thinking to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges.
    • Assessing field operations to identify and address potential issues.
    • Generating geospatial models using AutoCAD.
    • Creating detailed drawings and plans in AutoCAD to communicate construction specifications effectively.
    • Conducting basic design checks and mathematical calculations.
    • Estimating quantities and performing take-offs.
    • Emphasizing continual learning as a key aspect of the role.

    What You Can Expect to Learn:

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with daily usage.
    • Practical experience with crane operations and pick planning.
    • Rigging design principles, including sizing and selection of equipment.
    • Technical insights into various field operations, such as steel erection and marine construction.
    • Acquiring industry-specific terminology.
    • Familiarization with design standards and project specifications.
    • Enhanced written communication skills.
    • Exposure to business and financial concepts, fostering a well-rounded professional skill set.
