***Responsible for generating sales activity for the Treasury Services Department, including the development of marketing programs, and the servicing of existing clients using a team approach.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS- Calls on prospective or existing clients to develop new business, expands existing business relationships, maintains good client relations, and ensures proper servicing of accounts.

  • Prepares Treasury Services proposals and makes recommendations to assist business clients.
  • Participates in Relationship, Business Banking and Small Business Banking blitzes.
  • Follows up with existing clients to ensure good service and crosssells additional services.
  • Stays apprised of Treasury Services to fully meet the needs of existing and potential customers.
  • Prepares Treasury Services documents and delivers and reviews Treasury Services documents with clients.
  • Reviews returned Treasury Services documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Works on a team of multiple Treasury Services Sales Specialists (if applicable).
  • Participates in joint calls with Product Generalist to clients with extensive or complex Treasury Services needs.
  • Tracks referrals and sales results.
  • Assists in developing a marketing strategy for Treasury Services products/services, monitoring its success, and helping to coordinate the Treasury Services call program with other departments.
  • Helps educate both the Retail and Business Banking departments on new and existing Treasury Services.
  • Meets with Relationship Managers to review and put together crossselling action plans based on prospect and existing client lists.
  • Recommends and cross sells other services within the bank that are related to Treasury Services.
  • Adheres to the pricing of Treasury Services products/services to ensure profitability.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Completes all compliance training related to the position.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs all other duties as assigned.


EXPERIENCE/SKILLS- Minimum two (2) years sales experience required; three (3) to five (5) years banking experience required; experience selling Treasury Services products/services preferred.

  • Three (3) to five (5) years experience preferred; prior sales of financial products or services, preferably banking experience preferred.
  • Proactive sales skills with ability to prospect new client relationships. Good PC skills
-proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.

  • High degree of self motivation and ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong client relationship management and customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to network within the bank and in the community.

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree preferred.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel to off-site locations for meetings, projects, seminars, etc., as well as ability to travel overnight.
