- Conduct inspections and assessments of UST and AST fuel storage and dispensing systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Review automatic remote monitoring system status reports.
- Basic Operation & Maintenance duties; light construction ability.
- Perform Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) inspections to prevent and manage stormwater runoff impacts.
- Execute Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) inspections to prevent and address potential oil spills.
- Collect soil and groundwater samples for analysis, ensuring accuracy and adherence to sampling protocols.
- Utilize field instruments and equipment for environmental monitoring and data collection.
- Analyze and interpret data obtained from inspections and sampling activities.
- Prepare detailed and comprehensive reports based on field inspections and sampling services.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to address environmental concerns and develop effective solutions.
- Stay informed about relevant environmental regulations and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, sampling activities, and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field. High School Diploma / Vocational Training is acceptable with sufficient relevant field experience.

- Operation & Maintenance duties; light construction ability.
- Valid driver's license. Must be able to lift 25 pounds and open/close UST manhole covers.
- Preferred Qualifications: 40 Hour HAZWOPER; 0-3 years' experience; NJ Licensed Wastewater Treatment Systems Operator (N1, N2, etc.); and New Jersey UST Class A/B Operator certification.
