Summary of the Role
A Senior Process Engineer will utilize their expertise in process development and engineering design for mining and mineral ventures. They will apply advanced knowledge and specialized training to create systems and unit operations in compliance with contractual agreements and relevant regulations. Collaboration with Discipline Leads, Principals, Project Managers, and Engineering Managers is essential to meet these expectations. This role involves addressing complex issues that require a thorough analysis of various factors and the exploration of alternative solutions. Decision-making on methodologies, techniques, and assessment criteria is key to achieving results aligned with established policies and practices. Problem-solving efforts may span over several months and require minimal supervision. The role includes assessing and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a representative for the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Senior Process Engineer IV
- Carrying out intricate designs, calculations, and assessments for projects related to oil and gas, distribution, and planning.
- Managing project-related tasks such as reporting, data collection, proposal drafting, cost tracking, and progress reporting.
- Determining suitable methods for data collection in projects and surveys.
Senior Process Engineer III
- Identifying and evaluating hazardous materials and potential environmental impacts to assess their consequences.
- Creating reports, charts from synthesized data, and providing insights to project managers.
- Analyzing data to address environmental issues, establish standards, and devise approaches to manage potential risks.
Senior Process Engineer II
- Enhancing, designing, setting up, maintaining, and monitoring relevant equipment and their performance.
- Defining project scopes, budgets, and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Preparing and delivering documentation for clients and project bids.
Senior Process Engineer I
- Serving as a technical expert in applying advanced concepts, principles, and methodologies in specific areas.
