Description
We're Hiring:
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a motivated Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to join our growing Wastewater Infrastructure team in Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to be based out of our Lakewood, Colorado location with the potential to support projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being the technical expert focusing on water/wastewater process projects across Colorado and the organization.
- Applying advanced engineering techniques and analyses for solution development, effectively communicating with stakeholders, and supporting projects focused on water/wastewater process design.
- Collaborating with senior engineers and project leads to assist in projects related to water/wastewater treatment.
- Supporting detailed design and project management of small to large process projects including the implementation of new treatment technologies, rehabilitation of existing facilities, and expansion of facilities.
- Leading project teams and directing multi-discipline teams as needed.
- Communicating with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and relevant information.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- BS or MS in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, MS preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
- Understanding of water/wastewater process design, regulations, and technology.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and interact positively with clients.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Some travel within the Denver area to project sites and other Kennedy Jenks offices may be necessary.
