Rad Ltd. is seeking a Manager Mammography to manage the mammography services for our west side locations. We are looking for a natural leader who can help guide our mammography staff by providing direction, inspiration, motivation, and leadership. This individual will be accountable for outstanding quality of mammography services to our patients while developing the staff. Reports directly to the Sr. Director of Clinical Operations.


Job Summary:


The Mammography Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a multi-site outpatient clinic focused on mammography services, including both screening and diagnostic procedures.

This role assumes full responsibility for ensuring operational success, encompassing financial management, employee engagement and retention, and optimizing the patient experience.

Collaborating with the Director of Clinical Operations, the Mammography Manager supervises clinical and operational activities with a key emphasis on exceptional customer service, expanding market presence, financial strength, and fostering positive employee relations.

The Mammography Manager actively seeks opportunities for process enhancements and leads initiatives to drive positive changes.

They work closely with Center Managers to ensure that mammography staff at assigned sites consistently meet performance standards and promptly address any concerns as they arise.

Additionally, the Mammography Manager partners with physician leaders in the service line to enhance overall performance and achieve established goals.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Champions the USRS Radiology Way in daily activities
  • Greet patients, families, and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Ensures accuracy of patient data entered in the RIS
  • Ensures smooth daily operations by resolving performance issues and ensuring appropriate scheduling of center staff
  • Acts as point of escalation for concerns and challenges from patients and referring physicians
  • Monitor the clinical operational performance of the Mammography Service Line, including screening and diagnostic technicians, breast ultrasound technicians, and all related sites within Radiology Ltd
  • Provide exceptional leadership, fostering teamwork and collaboration while promoting high employee and physician engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and government agencies, collaborating with the Accreditation Technical Coordinator to conduct necessary reviews, audits, education, and training to maintain compliant status
  • Identify physical maintenance and equipment needs, coordinate repairs with internal or external resources, and address daytoday physical plant issues to support employee engagement and meet patient expectations.
  • Collaborate with the professional relations team to cultivate and maintain community partnerships and relationships, attracting new customers and retaining existing ones while upholding Radiology Ltd's standards within the community
  • Continuously monitor operations and workflow, revising operational procedures as needed to ensure efficiency and exceptional results aligned with system practices. Identify and implement areas for improvement, including quality indicators, while fostering a culture of safety to enhance patient, provider, and staff experiences
  • Develops and fosters referring physician relationships
  • The applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Must be certified in mammography, possess ARRT credentials and a current Arizona State Licensure

  • Current CPR

Education and Experience:


  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school or 612 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience of 3 or more years required.
