Digital Strategy Coordinator for Schools

Department:
School Organization and Digitalization, Office for Schools and Education

As part of a reorganization, the department for "Schools, Construction, and Digitalization" has been divided into two new departments. The new department 40/- School Organization and Digitalization is divided into 7 departments and includes a digital strategy coordinator.

Responsibilities:

Support the department head of 40/2 in implementing the digital strategy for schools
Develop and maintain innovation concepts for media development planning, pedagogical IT strategy, and digital school transformation
Project work, implementation of new technologies, and development of digital teaching and learning spaces
Advise and support the management of department 40 in implementing the digital strategy and develop, establish, and maintain a knowledge management system
Represent the city of Düsseldorf in political and regional committees
Qualify and train teachers and organize training measures

Qualifications:

Completed university degree (Master's or equivalent) in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
Several years of professional experience in IT system architecture or as an IT project manager
Understanding of local politics
Confident and professional demeanor, as well as strong cooperation and communication skills
Teamwork, responsibility, dedication, resilience, and initiative
Organizational skills, independent work style, and ability to think in a solutionoriented and interconnected way
