Responsibilities
- Understanding of current minority participation program requirements.
- Answer inquiries and route messages to staff
- Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, etc., as required
- Procure and track both paper and digital documents for bidding and construction.
- Support administrator and staff in the preparation of proposals and bids.
- Support office and department with various scheduling functions.
- Organize bid documents and fill out required paperwork for bids.
- Obtain insurance and bonding paperwork for bids.
- Various other office administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- 2 or 4year degree in business or administration. Similar practical administrative experience in the construction industry will also be acceptable.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe skills are required. Must be able to learn additional software programs.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of general office procedures.
- Must be teamoriented and able to work closely with our experienced administrator.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment and be able to adapt easily to frequently changing project requirements.
- Must have good time management skills and understand the deadlineoriented nature of the estimating department.
- Must be able to navigate internetbased client procurement systems.
- Proficiency with research and analytical skills are essential.
Pay:
$55, $65,000.00 per year
