Description

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a Signal Mechanic (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Mainz. As part of a qualification program, you will initially start as a skilled worker in the field of signaling and safety technology. You will go through several development steps with us until you reach the position of Signal Mechanic.
Your tasks:

You are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of different systems in the field of signaling and safety technology
The focus of your work is on electronic components such as signals, switches, and signal boxes, but you will also learn about mechanical components
You will usually carry out your tasks in your regional area as part of a team, independently and reliably
You will be responsible for maintaining electrical indoor and outdoor systems, but your main work will be outdoors
In addition, your tasks will include troubleshooting and creating and forwarding fault reports
You will start and end your work at your central base - here you will collect all necessary materials, modern equipment and measuring instruments, as well as your vehicle

Your profile:

You have successfully completed training in electrical engineering, for example as an electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical specialist, or electronics technician for industrial engineering or automation technology
