    Qualifications

    • 7+ years of architectural design experience in all phases of projects.
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
    • Licensed Architect with current registration in the State of Texas
    • Experience with industrial and/or commercial projects, working on architecturally significant buildings Strong knowledge of architectural buildings systems, design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer products.
    • Knowledge of building codes and standards.
    • Thorough knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Revit is required.
    • Experience in Photoshop, Mustrali, Sketchup
    • *Must be eligible to work in the United States*

    Responsibilities

    • Monitors the design process to ensure the overall design intent of the project is properly executed and incorporated into the detailed documentation.
    • Maintains technical resolution and coordination of projects. Maintains effective communication with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications, progress reviews, and delivery of final presentation.
    • Checks completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations for accuracy.
    • Creates strategy for producing the documents in coordination with the Project Manager or Senior Architect including defining how data will be organized and Which elements will be incorporated in a Building Information Model (BIM).
    • Communicates with other disciplines, and vendors. and contractors to ensure the incorporation of all information
    • Supervises preparation of technical drawings
    • Utilizes knowledge of building codes and can research and apply/incorporate them into technical documents.
    • Mentors and directs the work of less experienced team members.
    • Participates in business development meetings with team leaders to target specified projects, clients, or market opportunities
    • Coordinates and tracks shared electronic documentation and files with project team, clients, and consultants
    • Attends on-site visits. field reviews, and project meetings. Prepares and coordinates the review of contractor's schedules, and submission of shop drawings and samples.
    • Works with Specification Writer in product research, consulting with manufacturers, and evaluating and selecting project-related materials:
    • Participates in the review of project costs. budgets, and schedule
