Handyman to handle repairs and upkeep at a variety of properties in the Chicago area.

What we offer:

Compensation range of $20-$30 per hour depending on experience:

• Monthly cell phone stipend
• 40 hour work week + Overtime as needed
• Medical/Dental/Vision insurance
• Two weeks vacation / one week sick time
• 401k Company match up to 4%

What you'll do:

• Basic repair and installation tasks

Doors & Windows: installation and repairs
-
Carpentry: crown molding, chair rails, wainscoting, base molding, stairs, railings, shelving, trim.

Electrical: fixtures, ceiling fans, GFCIs, outlets, switches, exterior lights, dimmers, service upgrades, breaker panel replacement, and troubleshooting

Plumbing: faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, garbage disposals, shut off valves, ice makers, supply lines, drains, leaks, troubleshooting

Lighting and Lighting Systems: installation and troubleshooting

Drywall: repair and installation
-
Painting/Staining: interior and exterior

Roofing: patch small flat roof holes and troubleshoot leaks.


What you'll need:

• 35 years of handyman experience
• Your own basic tools
• Ability to lift tools and building materials weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally lbs
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
• Excellent communication skills and a general understanding of property management
• Fluent English
• Ability to work a rotating "oncall" schedule
