Description
Performs a variety of general office, secretarial and purchasing duties. Offers support to two Superintendents, Mechanic, as well as department Foremen. Coordinates schedules for field crew of 25-30.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, in an office environment. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. The position does not generally require long hours or weekend work, but it may be necessary on occasion. Occasionally may lift up to 25 pounds.


Minimum Education, Experience and Certification

REQUIRED

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Texas driver's license, and ability to maintain an insurable driving record.
  • 1 year office and computer operations experience is required.

PREFERRED

  • 3 years experience preferred.
  • Experience with purchasing preferred.
  • Past experience working with a utility company, municipality, and/or environmental experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

REQUIRED

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to read safety procedures and instructions.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Must be extremely organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Skills in verbal communications and letter writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to read Standard Operating Procedures, instructions, and daily reports.
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as calculator, copier, phone, fax machine.

PREFERRED

  • Knowledge of MS Office products: PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.

Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
