Overview
New York Water Tours is seeking skilled maintenance workers to help with the upkeep of our 7 passenger vessels. Vessels range from 90' - 120' with multiple decks. Job seekers should be mechanically inclined, neat, and organized. All applicants must have at least 1 year doing general maintenance - painting, cleaning, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, loading/ unloading, ect.
Responsibilities

Move equipment, furniture, supplies to and from vessel as well as around the vessel:
Basic carpentry experience and knowledge:
Aid in vessel renovation:

Proper use of power and hand tools:
Painting with rollers and brushes:
General vessel upkeep:

Attention to rust prevention:

Finish work:
-
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies:
Care and maintenance of carpets:
Care and maintenance of outer decks:
Care and maintenance of all interior trim and finishings:
Assist engineer when required
Requirements:
-
Must possess a valid driver's license:
Must be willing to report to multiple locations- including shipyards:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time:
Ability to lift 50 lbs over head:
Must be a self starter with the ability to work independently
Compensation

Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours
Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
