Position Summary


The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring chemical manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Operate and monitor chemical manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct visual inspections and tests to verify product quality and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Record production data and maintain accurate and uptodate logs, reports and company system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Participate in training programs to improve job skills and knowledge.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Operate material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Associate degree in a technical field, such as chemical technology or process technology.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and record keeping.
  • Willingness to work in a production environment with exposure to chemicals, noise, and dust.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • HAZWOPER 40Hour Certification
  • 1+ years of experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret SOPs and safety guidelines.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • Phoenix, AZ 85085: Relocate before starting work (required)
