  • Senior Estimator
    Preengineered Steel Buildings Experience is a must


The Estimator Specialist will provide detailed and precise cost analyses and project estimations to support the development of competitive bids and effective project planning in the construction industry.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience with Pre-Engineered steel buildings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in construction estimation and proposal writing, preferably in the designbuild industry.
  • Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools (e.
G., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, RSMeans).

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design and construction practices is a plus.

Responsibilities:


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed cost estimations for construction projects, including materials, labor, and other relevant expenses.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
  • Analyze project specifications and blueprints to understand project requirements and identify potential costsaving opportunities.
  • Develop comprehensive and competitive proposals tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and project information.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to ensure competitiveness in proposals.
  • Assist in project budgeting and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in prebid meetings, site visits, and negotiations as needed.
  • This is a full time position working in our offices.
