    Job Description

    University Cancer & Blood Center is hiring a full time Patient Financial Navigator. This position is 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

    Job Duties:

    • Work with various drug assistance/reimbursement programs and patient assistance programs to get patient assistance needed.
    • Meet with patients regarding balances, payment plans, financial resources
    • Process monthly statements. Respond to patient inquiries regarding statement balances
    • Collecting on money owed by patients
    • Processing monthly refunds

    Job Requirements:

    • High School Diploma
    • Previous medical office experience
    • Previous billing experience preferred
    • Desire and ability to work with patients. Must be able to have difficult discussions with patients regarding their medical bills
    • Ability to work as an individual and as a team
