As an Ocean Import Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the importation of goods via ocean freight, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery.

This is a key leadership role within our organization, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of ocean import operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and transportation logistics
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, customs brokers, and other stakeholders
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues or delays that may arise
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely communication of shipment details
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and developments, implementing best practices as appropriate

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in ocean import operations, including customs clearance procedures
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and documentation requirements
• Familiarity with transportation logistics and supply chain management concepts
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
