Automotive Mechatronics Technician*

Cars are too small for you?

Automotive mechatronics technicians repair and maintain trucks, construction and street cleaning vehicles, and inspect vehicle systems. They perform repairs and equip vehicles with additional systems and special equipment.

The practical training takes place at the construction and green space company of the city of Aalen.

Requirements

Recommended school leaving certificate: Mittlere Reife
This profession requires versatility, independence, responsibility, manual dexterity, and technical understanding.

Start and duration of training

The training starts annually on September 1st and lasts for 3 1/2 years.
In the first year of training, the vocational training takes place full-time at the Aalen vocational school center.
