**Description**

**The Ecomm Buyer/Planner will execute merchandising strategies that maximize sales, margin, and inventory turnover. Drive strategic and daily execution for planning, buying, analyzing, merchandising, and forecasting of Reef e-commerce merchandise while adhering to company and divisional strategies.**

**Responsibilities:**

Drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory and bottom-line profitability.

Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities to influence strategies to ensure sales and comp growth. Related actions include identifying right quantities to purchase to achieve sales, margin, turnover, and merchandising objectives. Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales / inventory needs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

Ability to recognize market trends and influence product assortment to meet and exceed business objectives.

Responsible for managing and optimizing ecommerce size replenishment; collaborate with cross-functional team on replenishment needs via product transfers

Responsible for providing quantitative analysis to support planning, buying decisions both preseason and in- season to maximize opportunities.

Responsible for providing input at product milestone meetings to capture needs of the markets (US & Canada) across both genders

Partner/Collaborate with operations, DC, planning and merchandising to support strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities.

Develop and execute seasonal category product strategies in order to achieve ideal product assortment to deliver profitable revenue and gross margin dollar growth.

Be the owner of short- and long-term product strategies to grow the business and brand.

Develop monthly forecasts of sales and inventory.

Communicate category and buying strategies to cross functional and category business partners.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that has the right types of product available to meet the needs of the consumer.

Collaborate with Marketing & Ecommerce team to build out seasonal go-to market calendars.

Collaborate with product team to build & maintain seasonal SMU assortments.

**Education**:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Merchandising or related field and/or relevant experience.

**Minimum Years Experience:**

3+ years of experience

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**

Strong merchandise planning/analysis and the inventory pipeline skills from concept to permanent markdown.

Advanced computer skills required

Experience using SAP / SAP BI

Advanced Excel skills, with a thorough understanding of macros, pivot tables, lookup formulas, formatting, etc.

Strong analytical skills.

Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

Self-motivated, flexible, and able to handle large volumes of work independently.

Intimate knowledge of Digital marketplace and trends

Footwear or Apparel buying experience a must
