Director of Quality/Patient SafetyJob DescriptionPurpose & Scope:The Director of Quality/Patient Safety reports to the Associate Vice President and will lead all activities designed to support Quality, clinical excellence, clinical improvement initiatives, and Patient Safety Goals throughout the systemThis individual will:
The Director is responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating all activities designed to ensure regulatory compliance and continuously maintain accreditation standards.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or other similar clinical degree is required. Master's degree in an approved related field is preferred.
Experience:
Five years of healthcare/medical - nursing/patient care experience is required.
Three years of managerial experience is required.
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is preferredLean/Six Sigma certification is preferred
