    Flex-O-Glass is a leading plastics manufacturer and third generation family-owned company with over 100 years of business experience.     Our company is currently searching for someone to join our warehousing team as our Shipping Lead who will work alongside our Shipping Manager to provide support to our shipping and receiving team.

    This position will work within a team of other warehouse professionals and will be based in our Chicago, IL facility.

    This role will require the selected candidate to be in office Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm.


    Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    Assists Warehouse Manager in operations of warehouse, including: shipping, receiving, restock, transfers and facility clean-up.
    Checks outbound orders and inbound receipts.
    Utilizes ERP system to facilitate product movement and storage.
    Assists in managing and training a staff of employees.
    Leads and develops warehouse team to set up and enable outbound operations to provide unparalleled customer service.
    Maintains high levels of accuracy in inventory integrity and daily operations.
    Other duties may be assigned based on workplace changes


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    High School Diploma.
    Supervisory or managerial experience.
    Forklift experience.
    Knowledge of warehouse procedures.
    Strong problem-solving skills.
