Your tasks:

You will take on project management for major projects and projects in the road and traffic sector, including cycling and local mobility planning, and planning of public transport stops.

You independently create plans for traffic facilities in phases 1 to 6 and coordinate them until they are ready for execution.

You issue orders for planning by engineering firms. You represent the planning to other departments, the public, and in the political bodies of the state capital Düsseldorf.

You write statements on various traffic planning matters and take on project management and coordination for special individual projects.

Your tasks also include the deputy management of planning department 66/2.1, currently with 6 employees, and in case of representation, the assumption of personnel, organizational, and technical tasks.

Your profile:

You have a degree (Bachelor or Master of Science or Engineering, Diplom-Ingenieur*in) in civil engineering, traffic engineering, mobility management, or an equivalent qualification and have sound specialist knowledge of road and traffic planning.

You already have professional experience, a high level of responsibility and performance, and the secure handling of road planning software is a matter of course for you.

You have an understanding of financing and contract management and have a high level of flexibility, teamwork, resilience, and decision-making ability.
