- Effective leadership of all Production Technicians, Material Handlers, Set-up, Mixing Technicians and Twin Support personnel to achieve company's philosophy and policies to ensure our customer receives a quality product delivered on time.
- Planning and coordination of human resources to include: hiring, employee evaluation, employee development and training, proper placement and utilization of employee, management of overtime and vacation, and employee discipline.
- Planning and coordination of equipment resources to include: developing and maintaining efficiency standards, runtimes, measurable throughput and proper utilization and availability of equipment/tools.
- Communicate daily and through regularly scheduled group meetings, the production goals and objectives, the quality policy and promote the company's philosophy.
- Ensure plant is a clean, safe place for people to work and a place where people want to come to work through effective safety training and housekeeping.
- High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of manufacturing experience; lean experience preferred.
- Excellent, interpersonal communication, follow-thorough and organizational skills.
- Work well in a cross-functional team that includes internal and external customers.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work with hand tools, precision tools and power tools, knowledge of Injection Mold dies, press die construction and maintenance along with previous tooling experience preferred.
- Good computer skills.
- Ability to obtain a fork-lift license.
- Supervisory skills, Excel, Oracle, operation of machines, Oracle HRIS, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, human error reduction, root cause analysis, interview training.
