Are you interested in working with an organization that is transforming the way America cares for and educates its children?
Monarch Preschool College Park is seeking a dynamic, energetic Teacher Assistant who enjoys working with children aged 3-5.

The Teacher Assistant will support a Lead Teacher in creating a year-round, high-quality, project-based learning pre-kindergarten environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning while preparing children for school and life beyond.

This is a full-time, 10-month teaching position.

About Monarch Preschool College Park

Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred
21 years of age or older
12 years experience as a teaching assistant or working in a childcare setting
Solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices
Ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment
Must have a positive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Ability to fluently speak, read, and write English; Spanish fluency a plus
Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children
Must see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with them
