- Tests simple to complex rate revisions or features using industry accepted techniques, methodologies, best practices, and standards.
- Creates, modifies, or maintains test assets needed for effective project or product testing.
- Contributes to requirements reviews, design reviews, systems analysis, and testing review discussions.
- Analyzes product requirements and risks to determine test scope and estimate testing effort, typically at feature or story level. Adjusts based on results or changes.
- Mitigates product and system risk through testing activities that consider application layers (Client, API, and database), levels of testing (unit, integration, system, system integration), types of testing (manual, automated, and acceptance), and techniques (white box and black box), and environments (QA, Production).
- Identifies tools needed for testing (software, data, environments, etc)
- Identifies issues and defects that impact testing or product quality and communicates to stakeholders for mitigation or resolution.
- Recognizes how existing or planned test automation may influence manual testing effort and makes needed changes. Uses automated solutions to increase efficiencies in testing.
- Focus on BOP Rate Revisions- and Feature Enhancements
- Work on different types of Revisions (Rates Only, Model Upgrades, Forms Only, etc)
- Review ADO Board, pick up cards
- Plan, prep, and execute Tests
- Attach Test Results; provide updates to the team
- Write up bugs, follow up and help drive resolution
- Support Production Deployments; verifying Production on Release Dates
- Software quality assurance testing experience of multiple applications with significant size, scope and complexity using industry-standards, methodology, and terminology
- Experience in testing Policy Interfacing platforms such as Quoting and Servicing.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops
- Demonstrated technical and analytical aptitude, attention to detail, effective multi-tasking, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in Scrum.
- Experience with Postman and APIs
- Knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance. Rate revision experience in Insurance industry.
