    Job Description:


    Being a member of the Enterprise DevSecOps (EDSO) team means you will be a part of a technology team with a rich diverse skill sets and a great enthusiastic committed team.

    Whether it's DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Java, Spring suite, JavaScript, AngularJS, CI development which is like enhancements/customizations on Jenkin pipeline using groovy/python, similar experience around CI tools.

    Linux, Database skillset (PostgreSQL) required for the project initiatives, we are there for each other collaborating and helping each other to achieve the common goal.

    We are embarking on an incredible multi-year transformation journey and we are looking for best-of-breed software engineers to join us on this journey.

    The Lead DevSecOps Engineer is responsible to chip in towards new project implementations related to building of a new application development platform that supports all EDSO onboarding pipelines Jenkins platform that is the backbone for all systems and applications at DTCC.

    There is also significant opportunity for advancement and growth in this role based on your performance and contribution towards the organization goals.


    Responsibilities:
    Enterprise DevSecOps (DSO) enables delivery of IT service capabilities enabling improved client experience.
    The CI/CD Squads create CI/CD solutions utilizing automation in alignment with agile practices to build environments.
    The CI/CD Squads create CI/CD solutions realizing software and infrastructure deployment automation into highly regulated and controlled environments.
    The role creates and delivers CI/CD solutions that meet varying end-user/customer demands while maintaining strict security and availability standards

    The focus of this role is to realize business, technical, and control group requirements through the application of Software Implementation Lifecycle tasks.

    This is a role with 85+% of work time focus on application development including, but not limited to, design, code, documentation, test and supporting activities.

    The work will leverage a mix of front-end, back-end, middleware, transactional and database skill sets and experience.

    You will work closely with Development and Infrastructure teams to define, program, test and deliver DevSecOps and middleware software solutions on a combination of traditional and Cloud (AWS/Azure) Platforms using Agile methodologies.

    You will engage in direct application development activities (programming: design, code, test) supporting agile teams toward the rapid adoption of DevSecOps practices and toolsets.

    You will operate as a vital component of an Agile Squad. As a senior squad member, you will collaborate with Development, Architecture, and Infrastructure to implement technical designs. You will be engaged as a Subject Matter Expert.

    Qualifications:
    Has a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical discipline or related field.

    Has 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer or DevOps & Build Release Engineer with a understanding of Business-Driven software integration and delivery approach.

    Is experienced in application life cycle management which includes compilation, packaging, and release management from one environment to other environments and deploying to servers leveraging tools like Git, Maven, Nexus, BitBucket, and other CICD tools.

    Understands principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management in Agile methodologies.
    Has familiarity with Linux, Database and Application server's administration in a global production environment.
    Familiar with Chef and Ansible configuration management framework technologies.
    Working knowledge & experience of various cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)
    Experienced in using Jenkins CI/CD tool for End-to-End application build and deploy automation.
    Hands on experience building software application leveraging programming languages: Java/J2EE, Groovy, Python, Shell, Bash, Terraform and JavaScript.
    Has expertise in trouble-shooting problems generated while building, deploying and in production support.
