Donovan Hatem LLP is a multi-practice law firm offering sophisticated and specialized legal counsel to architectural and engineering firms, as well as a diverse clientele of public and private companies, and individuals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist with preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and written discovery
- Organize and maintain case files, exhibits and documents
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits
- Assist with document production and discovery requests
- Review documents in document management systems such as Relativity, Disco and Everlaw
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven experience working as a Litigation Paralegal or similar role
- Proficiency in document review and legal research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Working knowledge and experience with efiling in state and federal courts
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a demanding and fastpaced environment
- Ability to work well independently as well as be a team player
Pay:
$60, $70,000.00 per year
